Château Moya

“I am pleased to introduce to the UK market this new wine produced by
my wine school classmate Damien Landouar.”
Thibault Lavergne

Close to Saint Emilion and the Dordogne, Chateau Moya has a stuning 360 panorama view on the valley and its organic vines. David Curl the owner of Chateau du Gaby in Canon-Fronsac bought the 8 hectares of vines on clay and chalky soils in 2008. 2009 is the first vintage, before the wines was sold to the local Cave Cooperative. The wine making is done by the young star of the region, the Charentais Damien Landouar.

“Maceration by punching of the cap, “pigeage”. Moya mean “wind” in Zoulou, it is also the second name of the owner mother in law who is from South Africa.”
