This vineyard of 10 hectares is situated in the village of Tallone
in the plateau of Pianiccia, which is in the eastern centre of the island between Bastia and Aleria.
The soil is made up of chalk, clay and pudding stones. Thanks to the passion of the vineyard’s owner, every thing in this Domaine is designed made to make a Grand Cru from Corsica, which, since its first vintage in 2000 has collected awards from France and abroad (“Coup de Coeur du Guide Hachette”, Gold Medal in Bruxelles, Prix d’Excellence in the Vinalie).
The winegrower’s sterling efforts begin with intense work on the vines -
1 The Cordon Royat method of pruning is used
2 The leaves are thinned out to maximize exposure to the sun.
3 A green harvest is used to help the concentration of the grapes
4 The grapes are harvested by hand, in order to select the best fruit
